She can often serve as an accidental indicator of her trainer's true mood, mirroring his aggression or hesitation with her fighting style. On the rare occasions that Kimmuriel is actually in a low mood, she refuses to leave his side. Venorik wields her psychic attacks with deadly precision, preferring to get battle done with as soon as possible, which suits her trainer fine; he sees no reason to work on that, as of yet. She evolved into a Hatterene some time before Kimmuriel's impromptu time travelling. He was working on sharpening her ability to detect the intent of other Pokemon and people before he was whisked off.
Venorik is the drow word for 'silent'. Other words Kimmuriel uses are kyorl'urn and quenar, the words for 'watchful' and 'fourth', respectively.
