He liked his trainer immediately on sight - and Kimmuriel, despite his constant griping, is patient and even gentle with him as he is all his other Pokemon. Ilinsar's favourite perch, when he can bear to sit still, is pretending to be an ornament on his trainer's hairtie, or braided into his ponytail. Like Streeka, Ilinsar's main strategy in combat is to charge ahead and boldly attack without holding back. Kimmuriel has been training him to use his small size and his speed to his advantage by striking strategically instead of erratically and as he likes, though so far this is hampered by Ilinsar's own impatience in wanting to do well.
Recently and unexpectedly evolved into Chimecho during a training session at night, due to a shared bond with his trainer.
Ilinsar is the drow word for 'amulet'. Other words Kimmuriel uses for him are ssussun and huelar, the drow words for 'brightness' and 'fifth', respectively.
